Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jack Olf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matthew Polack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Olf has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Olf!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matthew Polack!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Olf fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Polack stuffs the takedown.
Olf misses with a wild combination.

Polack pushes Olf up against the cage in a clinch.

Polack ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Polack no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Polack pushes Olf off and scrambles back to his feet.
Polack shoots and misses

and Olf counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Polack!
Olf scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Polack?
Polack slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Polack tries to roll over but Olf keeps him under control.
Polack has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Olf is working away from the top position though.

Olf is pressing down on Polack's thigh, looking to free his foot. Polack is holding on for now.
Polack trying to hold on to Olf's head to control him but Olf postures up.

Olf is looking for a kimura but Polack is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Olf to get the leverage.

Olf stands up out of the half guard.

Olf closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Polack to the mat! Polack manages to get full guard.
Olf wants to pass the guard but Polack is keeping the position.
Olf is breathing heavily.
Polack is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Olf is controlling him.

Polack wants to control the position but Olf says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Polack is looking for a sweep. Olf is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Polack tries to kick Olf off but Olf keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Olf is tying to control. Polack wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Polack tries to get to full guard but Olf has control of the leg.

Olf is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Polack defends it well.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Olf fails in his attempt to clinch.

Polack misses the shot to the body.
Olf misses with a takedown attempt
and Polack counters with a head kick. That will keep Olf thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Olf. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Polack gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Olf counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Polack will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Olf feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Polack not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Olf wants to control from the top but Polack keeps moving.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Olf.
Polack darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Polack connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Olf closes the distance and clinches.
Olf wants a takedown.
Polack drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Olf gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

Polack manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Olf controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Polack lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Olf!

Olf is squirming around, avoiding Polack's attempts to control the action.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Polack cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Olf really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Polack is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Polack shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so Olf counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Polack wants to sweep here but Olf controlling him for the moment.
Polack wants to hit a switch here but Olf passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Polack there!
Olf lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Polack hang on?

Olf tries to control but Polack wriggling away.
Olf is trying to control here but Polack has managed to regain half guard.
Polack moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Polack manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Olf manages to get himself to full guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Polack is looking to work some ground and pound but Olf has wrist control.
Polack trying to control the position from guard on top but Olf is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Olf looking to hit a scissor sweep but Polack is one step ahead there.
Polack being controlled here momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Matthew Polack will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Olf drops his hands momentarily and Polack takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Polack has his takedown stuffed

and Olf holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Polack tries to pull guard but Olf holds him up against the cage and eventually Polack drops back down to his feet.
Polack lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Olf is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Polack is keeping busy.
Olf letting Polack take a breather here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Polack gets through Olf's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Polack wants to break the clinch but can't.
Polack takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Polack is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Jack Olf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matthew Polack.

Polack tries to pull guard but Olf won't allow it.

Polack pulls Olf into guard.
Jack Olf overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Polack is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Olf kicks off Polack and gets to his feet.

Polack gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Olf is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Polack looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Olf forces his way into half guard.

Polack pushes Olf off but Olf dives into side control.
Polack tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Polack takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Polack is trying to get back to half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
You can see the frustration on Polack's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Polack is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Olf is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Olf lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Polack is trying to reverse the position but instead Olf has taken his back - oops!
What can Polack do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Olf is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Polack has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Will Olf go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Polack trying to control the position but Olf manages to sink in the hooks.
Olf misses with an elbow to the head.
Polack controlling the position well but he knows he's in a bad position.
Olf lands a punch that was close to the back of the head but the ref thinks it's OK.
Polack just trying to survive but Olf is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.

And that's the end of the fight!
Jack Olf showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Olf has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
