Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Boris Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andrew Tran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Sweet Child of Mine. Tran comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Blockbuster Night Part 1 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Boris Brown has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Boris Brown! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Andrew Tran! The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Hugh Johnson and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brown circles away from the clinch attempt.
Brown appears to be looking for a big counter. Tran is looking to clinch. Tran is looking to clinch but Brown is avoiding it.
Brown changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Tran shoots in and drives through. Brown sprawls well. Brown wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Tran clinches with his opponent.
Tran successfully pulls guard.
Tran is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Brown is aware though and is defending well. Tran is looking to stand up but Brown isn't so interested in that idea. Brown gets to his feet - Tran follows without any prompting. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tran with a lazy takedown attempt and Brown counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Brown tries to stall but Tran uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Boris Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Tran. Tran's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Brown decides to pull guard. Brown really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Tran showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Tran working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Tran drops back looking for a leg! Brown is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Brown manages to kick Tran off! Tran jumps back into Brown's guard. Tran throws a big right hand that misses. Brown looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Tran accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Tran advances to half guard. Brown is trying to stand.
Brown slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Brown keeping moving, preventing Tran from controlling successfully. Tran has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Brown wants to stand but Tran is controlling the position. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tran drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Brown manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Tran has Brown in his guard. Tran looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Brown knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tran on the ground. Brown throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Tran tries to land a sweep but no joy. Brown drops back looking for a leg! Tran is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Tran manages to kick Brown off! Brown jumps back into Tran's guard. Brown postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Tran is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Brown, into his guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brown is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Brown looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tran is one step ahead there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tran slips nicely into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Andrew Tran will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Tran shoots in but no luck this time. Brown throws a big counter combination but Tran scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Tran tries to clinch up. Brown misses with a kick to the body.
Tran feints the counter takedown. Tran fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Brown, pushing him back against the cage. Brown tries a knee to the head but Tran blocks it.
Tran stalling.
Tran blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Brown tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Tran tries to pull guard but Brown won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tran jumps guard but Brown turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Boris Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Tran. Brown has Tran pressed against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round. Tran's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Brown looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Brown slips a jab and a cross from Tran.
Brown instigates a clinch. Brown wants to stall.
Brown has picked Tran up - he's going for a ride! Brown dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Brown is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Tran is just riding it out for now. Brown eventually gives up the hold. Brown is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Tran doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Brown.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tran wants to improve his position but Brown is controlling well.
Brown is looking to take a break and control but Tran is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Tran trying to hold on to Brown's head to control him but Brown postures up.
Tran tries to get to full guard but Brown has control of the leg.

Tran moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Brown decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Tran forces Brown back against the cage and clinches. Brown decides to pull guard. Tran stops Brown from standing up. Brown is trying to control the position but Tran postures up. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Tran stopping the sweep attempt from Brown. Brown keeping moving, preventing Tran from controlling successfully. Brown is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brown blocks a head kick by Tran.
Brown pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Tran moves in looking to clinch but Brown pushes him off. Tran pushes Brown up against the cage in a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Boris Brown dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Come on Tran, up you get! Andrew Tran seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brown goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Brown throws a front kick that sends Tran stumbling back into the cage. Tran is looking to clinch but Brown is avoiding it.

Brown appears to be looking for a big counter. Tran takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tran tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Brown manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Brown is looking to counter the offense by Tran and move into the clinch. Tran darts in looking for a takedown but Brown gets double underhooks and turns Tran into the cage. Boris Brown has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrew Tran. Tran tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Brown manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Tran has closed the distance and engaged Brown in a clinch.
Tran is trying to pull guard but Brown turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Brown misses with a hook from the clinch. Tran wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Brown tries to stall but Tran uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Tran drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Brown gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Tran has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Brown is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tran working hard to break the clinch. Tran drops down looking for an ankle pick but Brown pulls his leg out and moves away.
Brown misses with the combination.
Brown looks for the body kick but Tran saw that one coming. Brown feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Brown is in close to Tran's body, working some short punches and elbows. Tran working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Brown. Tran is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tran being controlled here, momentarily. Brown has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Brown trying to control the position from guard on top but Tran is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tran trying to keep a closed guard but Brown is proving a slippery customer.
Brown trying to control but Tran is working from the bottom. Brown gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tran fails to land with a series of punches.
Brown throws a big counter combination but Tran scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Tran tries to clinch up. Brown is looking for a counter combo. Tran tries to clinch up but Brown circles away and keeps his distance. Brown avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Tran fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Brown half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Brown looking to score a takedown here. Tran is defending well but Brown drives through and ends up in Tran's guard. Brown trying to control but Tran is working from the bottom. Brown forces his way into half guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Brown seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tran does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Brown thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Tran's head.
And that's the end of the fight! Boris Brown showed his dominance in that final round. I think Brown has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
