Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stan Rivers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Nelson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rivers comes to the cage accompanied by Cyco Vision. On his way into the cage it seems that Stan Rivers has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Stan Rivers seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Stan Rivers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
36 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Nelson! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Dillan Fox and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A lazy left from Rivers finds it's target. Rivers displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Nelson. Rivers steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Nelson. Rivers bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Rivers misses with a few strikes there.
Nelson throws a jab but it's blocked by Rivers. Nelson throws a body shot but no joy. A punch combination from Rivers misses. Rivers ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nelson moves away. Rivers scores with a nice body kick.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Rivers. Rivers darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rivers scores with a jab. Nelson acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
It looks like Jake Nelson has been cut. Rivers throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Rivers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rivers stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Rivers wants it to stay on the feet. Rivers tests Nelson's chin there with a solid looking shot. Nelson keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Rivers fails to land with a series of punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rivers looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Nelson rushes Rivers and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Nelson works on Rivers's body with a couple of short punches. Nelson ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Nelson no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Nelson escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rivers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Nelson looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Rivers has picked Nelson up and slammed him! Nelson can't keep hold of the triangle and Rivers manages to pass to side control! Nelson sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Nelson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Nelson tries to kick Rivers off but Rivers keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nelson actively working from the bottom here. Nelson looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rivers definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Nelson wants to improve his position but Rivers is controlling well.

Rivers really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nelson looking for submissions off his back. Nelson moves into full guard.
Rivers got a little sloppy there for a moment and Nelson has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Rivers has managed to get both his arms back between Nelson's legs - danger averted. Rivers gets to his feet - Nelson follows without any prompting.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Rivers takes a kick to the side of the head. Rivers misses with an attempted mid kick.
Rivers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nelson manages to avoid it. It seemed like Nelson was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Nelson pushes Rivers up against the cage in a clinch. Rivers breaks from the clinch.
Sloppy strikes from Rivers. Those never looked like landing. Nelson takes one to the side of the head.
Rivers cracks Nelson with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Rivers is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Rivers rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nelson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Nelson misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rivers throws a sloppy head kick and Nelson moves out of range easily. Rivers throws a nice looking combination but Nelson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Rivers moves out of range as Nelson strikes. Rivers uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Nelson. Rivers lands with a kick to the temple. Nelson shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stan Rivers dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jake Nelson's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rivers lands a head shot. Nelson slips a jab from Rivers. Nelson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Rivers sprawls well. Rivers wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nelson gets slowly back to his feet. Rivers throws a front kick that sends Nelson stumbling back into the cage. Nelson with a poor takedown and Rivers connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Nelson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rivers sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Nelson somewhat. Stan Rivers has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Nelson. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nelson looks to land a right hand but Rivers moved out of range. Nelson on the wrong end of a nice hook. Stan Rivers is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rivers drops Nelson with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Nelson looks back up at him and smiles so Rivers waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Nelson is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rivers cracks Nelson with a left hook right on the temple and Nelson goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Rivers lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Nelson is OK!
