Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ramon Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Esteban Sanchez!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Francis DeMontford and Donatello Bradman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Jackson.
It seemed like Sanchez was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Sanchez thows a left - swing and a miss!
Esteban Sanchez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Sanchez bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jackson's head backwards.
Sanchez misses with a wild body shot.
An attempted straight right counter from Jackson misses the target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sanchez cracks Jackson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Jackson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Sanchez.
A jab lands there for Sanchez.

A swing and a miss from Sanchez.

Sanchez gets caught napping as Jackson dives in and scores a takedown. Sanchez manages to retain guard.
Jackson could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sanchez pulls Jackson in to control the position.
Let's hope that Sanchez has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Jackson throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jackson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Sanchez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jackson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Jackson wants to stand but Sanchez is controlling his posture from full guard.
Jackson might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Sanchez has his hands on Jackson's head, controlling the position.

Jackson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Sanchez is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Esteban Sanchez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Sanchez throws a shot from downtown. Jackson moves away and avoids it.
Jackson went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Jackson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Sanchez circles away.
Sanchez throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jackson appears to be looking for a big counter.
Sanchez misses with an uppercut. Jackson saw that one coming.

Sanchez is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Sanchez digs a good hook to Jackson's body.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sanchez lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jackson is rocked!
Sanchez throws a pinpoint strike between Jackson's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Jackson crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Sanchez scores a great knockout victory!
