Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Gutsy Mariwoopsie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marek Strzelba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marek Strzelba is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gutsy Mariwoopsie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marek Strzelba!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Strzelba stuffs the takedown.
Strzelba darts in looking for a takedown but Mariwoopsie gets double underhooks and turns Strzelba into the cage.
Strzelba looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mariwoopsie is trying to control but Strzelba passes into side control!
Strzelba misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Mariwoopsie wants to control but Strzelba postures up.
Mariwoopsie is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Strzelba is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mariwoopsie tries to buck Strzelba off but Strzelba is having none of it.
Strzelba scoring with punches and elbows.
Strzelba cracks Mariwoopsie with a big right hand but Mariwoopsie just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Strzelba throws a strike aimed at the side of Mariwoopsie's head but Mariwoopsie avoids it well.
Mariwoopsie tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Strzelba landing strikes.
Strzelba tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Strzelba has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Strzelba taking a breather here.
Strzelba postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Mariwoopsie is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Strzelba working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Mariwoopsie tries to bench press Strzelba off him but Strzelba keeps the position.
Strzelba connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Mariwoopsie some visible discomfort.
Strzelba has an Americana. Mariwoopsie didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Strzelba is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Strzelba hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Marek Strzelba!
