Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Edwin Valero! The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Topper Green and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Valero looks to land a combination but Silva avoids it well. Silva slips a jab and a cross from Valero.
Silva is looking to counter punch. Valero scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

Valero throws a right hand that Silva ducks under and follows up with a left that Silva also avoids with ease. And Silva counters with a quick kick to the body but Valero blocks it. Some wild striking there from Valero.

It looks like Ricardo Silva has been cut. Valero throws a right and a left that both miss. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Valero looks to land a combination. Silva sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Valero misses with a jab, cross combination.
Silva swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jab, jab by Valero - just one landing. Valero scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Valero misses with a jab, cross combination.
Valero looks winded! Valero lands with a nice combination. Silva backs away looking to recover. Valero lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Silva circles away quickly and effectively. Valero looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Silva drives through with a takedown into Valero's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva passes into half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Silva is working for a kimura but Valero is defending it quite comfortably.
Silva is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Valero is trying to stand up here but Silva is controlling him well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Silva is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Silva is looking for a kimura but Valero is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Silva to get the leverage. Valero is looking to control Silva's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Valero avoid being mounted? Silva is trying to work for a kimura but Valero is defending well.
Silva looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Silva moves into full mount! Valero won't be happy about that! Silva is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Valero is forced to tap! Great finish!
