Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Aurrelio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rustam Khabilov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pablo Aurrelio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rustam Khabilov!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aurrelio shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Khabilov pinned against the cage. Khabilov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Khabilov just misses with a punch to the body.

Aurrelio gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Aurrelio is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Khabilov defends well.

Aurrelio is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Aurrelio is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Khabilov can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Aurrelio swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Khabilov is now in Aurrelio's guard. A big mistake from Aurrelio there, giving up the dominant position!

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Khabilov connects with a nice short shot to Aurrelio's temple.

Rustam Khabilov showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Pablo Aurrelio.
Well Khabilov has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
