The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Aldo throws a series of punches but Sanchez avoids them all with ease.

Aldo tries to bum rush Sanchez with a series of wild strikes but Sanchez uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Sanchez is nestled in close to Aldo, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Aldo is in trouble now - Sanchez has advanced to mount!

Aldo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Sanchez darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Sanchez is landing with some decent strikes but Aldo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Sanchez has control of Aldo's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Aldo regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Sanchez is landing with some decent strikes but Aldo is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.

Aldo is squirming around, avoiding Sanchez's attempts to control the action.

Aldo is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Sanchez locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Aldo is forced to tap!
