PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harold Kidd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tommy Swatdee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tommy Swatdee told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kidd closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Kidd is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Swatdee is looking to control Kidd's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Swatdee avoid being mounted?
Kidd wants to stand up but Swatdee is controlling the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Swatdee has a closed guard, preventing Kidd from standing up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Kidd shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Swatdee's guard.
