Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maynard Maddox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Webb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gary Webb has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Lou da Vinci and David Schapiro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Webb misses with a takedown
and Maddox counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Webb is trying to force a seperation but Maddox has the dominant position.
Webb lands a hook to the side of the head.
Maddox tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Webb just stands there and leans against the cage.
Maddox manages to break the clinch.
Webb changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Maddox tries to avoid it but Webb manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Maddox to the ground. Maddox escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Maddox explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Maddox really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Webb misses with a few strikes there.
Maddox tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Webb manages to circle out of the way.

Maddox got a little sloppy there for a moment and Webb has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Maddox has managed to get both his arms back between Webb's legs - danger averted.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Webb is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Maddox, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
