14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Felix Cena! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mizuno closes the distance and clinches. Cena is looking to break free of the clinch but Mizuno has double underhooks. Mizuno using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Cena has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Cena crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Mizuno - the referee stops the clock and Cena gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Mizuno. That's two minutes gone in the round. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Mizuno. Cena is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Mizuno with a body shot. Cena closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Mizuno to the mat! Mizuno manages to get full guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cena throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Mizuno is trying to control the position but Cena postures up. Mizuno wants to get back to his feet but Cena is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Mizuno utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Mizuno is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Cena won't allow Mizuno to get back to his feet. Cena throws an elbow that misses. Mizuno uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cena's guard. Nice move by Mizuno! Mizuno tries to stand but Cena is controlling from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mizuno postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Mizuno won't allow Cena to get back to his feet. Cena is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Mizuno controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Cena wants to slow Mizuno down by chopping away at his legs. Mizuno is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Cena. Mizuno throws a head kick that Cena semi-blocks.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Cena looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mizuno is fending him off so far but Cena persists. Nope, Mizuno circles away and we're back to standing. Mizuno thinks about countering with a body kick. Cena scores with a crisp jab that stopped Mizuno in his tracks. Mizuno on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
It looks like Jun Mizuno has been cut. Mizuno thuds his shin into the meat of Cena's side. Cena throws a right and a left that both miss. Jun Mizuno is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Cena misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cena throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Mizuno sees it coming and avoids it easily. Cena lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mizuno pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Mizuno escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jun Mizuno has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Felix Cena. Mizuno throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Cena. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mizuno feints and then cracks Cena's leading leg with a nice low kick. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mizuno trying to land knees to the body.

Cena uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Cena takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mizuno darts in trying to clinch and Cena counters with a three punch combo that has Mizuno backing up. Mizuno nods at Cena to acknowledge the strikes. Mizuno is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jun Mizuno is winning the standup battle so far. Cena blocks a leg kick. Cena throws out a loose jab but Mizuno uses good head movement to avoid it. Cena thows a left - swing and a miss! Mizuno is looking to take this fight into the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Cena takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Mizuno wants to clinch. Mizuno tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Cena manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cena shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Cena was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Cena working the ground and pound but Mizuno is defending the strikes. Cena misses with the ground and pound. Mizuno is trying to get back to half guard. Cena throwing shots but missing, from side control. Cena creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. An elbow from Cena crashes against the mat.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cena lands a nice forearm strike. Mizuno is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Cena off and has taken his back!

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mizuno throwing sloppy strikes. Mizuno trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Cena just trying to survive but Mizuno is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish. Mizuno tries to get the hooks in deep but Cena pushed the leg off. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Felix Cena has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jun Mizuno is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Mizuno controlling well, preventing Cena from escaping the position.
And that's the end of the fight! Jun Mizuno showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mizuno, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
