Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Janu Haperenu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andros Luboslaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Andros Luboslaw has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Janu Haperenu's chin.

8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Janu Haperenu! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Andros Luboslaw! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Ren Mimura and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Haperenu fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Luboslaw is looking to clinch. Haperenu closes the distance and clinches up with Luboslaw, looking for a takedown. Haperenu pushes Luboslaw against the cage but Luboslaw circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Haperenu checks the leg kick nicely there.
Luboslaw moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
It looks like Janu Haperenu has been cut. Haperenu shoots in but Luboslaw avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Janu Haperenu. That's going to take a lot out of him. Haperenu keeps the fight on the outside. Haperenu has a takedown stuffed.

I looks like Luboslaw might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Luboslaw wants to stand but Haperenu has a closed guard, so he can't escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Haperenu keeping moving, preventing Luboslaw from controlling successfully. Haperenu had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Haperenu thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Haperenu advances to half guard. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Haperenu is looking for a kimura but Luboslaw is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Haperenu to get the leverage.
