Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Kazunori Maeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yoshi Yamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maeda comes to the cage accompanied by Gouryella. Yamoto has chosen Blow by Atreyu as his entrance music. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Yasuomi Hirokawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamoto ducks under a wild hook from Maeda.
Kazunori Maeda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Horrible takedown by Yamoto or perhaps it was just good defense by Maeda which made him look bad.
Kazunori Maeda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yoshi Yamoto.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yamoto closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Maeda knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Yamoto on the ground.

Yamoto uses his free foot to push down on Maeda's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Maeda.
Maeda is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Maeda wants to hold on but Yamoto pushes him away.

Yamoto working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Maeda is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Yamoto has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Maeda taps out!
