The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith closes the distance and clinches.

Smith throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stark's waist but Stark gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Smith off to one side.

Smith throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Smith fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That was a close second round but I would say that Delbert Stark will probably get the nod.

Stark dives in and grabs Smith's left leg, looking for a takedown. Smith pushes down on Stark's head and hops out.

As Smith tries to get set, Stark tries to push him back and clinch up but Smith manages to avoid the attempt.

Smith takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
Stark looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Smith with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Smith is trying to maintain the position but Stark is very close to passing his half guard.
