The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Le tries to clinch but Parks moves out of range.
A head kick from Parks lands but Le takes it in his stride.
Parks keeps the fight on the outside.
Parks swats away the attempt to clinch by Le.
Parks misses with a takedown attempt - Le sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Le tries to clinch up but Parks circles away and keeps his distance.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Parks in particular looking to stall.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

and Parks counters with a body kick that stops Le in his tracks momentarily.

Le creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.

Parks blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Parks has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Le is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Le creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Parks's defenses.
