3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dan Eggman! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Joseph Jones and Franklyn Lucas.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Henderson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Eggman circles away quickly and effectively. Eggman is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. Nice takedown defense from Eggman. No joy for Henderson on that attempt. A punch combination from Henderson misses. Henderson is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Eggman's half guard. Henderson slips a nice elbow through Eggman's hands, connecting with Eggman's forehead. Eggman actively working from the bottom here. Henderson missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Eggman is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Henderson's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Henderson's back! Eggman looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Henderson wants to escape the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Henderson is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eggman looking for the RNC. Henderson tries to roll but Eggman sticks to his back.

Eggman is trying to control the position but Henderson postures up. Henderson wants to control from the top but Eggman keeps moving. Eggman has control of Henderson's left arm, preventing Henderson from doing any damage. Henderson scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Eggman tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Henderson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Eggman on the ground. Eggman thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Eggman is on top in guard.
Henderson is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Eggman presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Eggman manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Henderson is looking to work some ground and pound but Eggman has wrist control. Henderson tries to free his leg and advance position but Eggman is retaining full guard. Eggman is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Robbie Henderson is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Eggman throws a right and a left that both miss. Eggman shoots in looking for a takedown but Henderson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Eggman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. A momentary lapse in concentration from Eggman enables Henderson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Eggman manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Eggman throws some sloppy strikes off his back.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Henderson looks to land a combination but Eggman avoids it well. Eggman tries to close the distance and clinch but Henderson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Eggman shoots in for a takedown but Henderson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Robbie Henderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Eggman. Henderson misses with a few strikes there.
Eggman shoots in but no luck this time. Henderson misses with a jab, cross combination.
Henderson is looking to land body kicks. Eggman takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice takedown defense from Eggman. No joy for Henderson on that attempt. Eggman tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Henderson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Eggman dives in for a single leg takedown but Henderson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Eggman with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Henderson to score with a decent uppercut. Eggman lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Eggman tries to clinch but Henderson moves out of range. Henderson shoots in but no luck this time. Eggman wants to clinch. Eggman fails with an attempt to clinch.
Robbie Henderson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Eggman fails with a takedown attempt from distance. This has been an exciting period of action! Henderson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eggman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Henderson as he jumps to the side. Eggman moves out of range as Henderson throws a body kick.
Eggman will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Henderson seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Henderson throws a body kick that misses. Henderson throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Henderson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Henderson wants it to stay on the feet. No luck with that takedown attempt from Henderson. Eggman wants to clinch. Eggman tries to clinch up but Henderson circles away and keeps his distance. Henderson pivots, looking for a leg kick but Eggman is out of range and Henderson settles back down. Eggman with the counter takedown but Henderson avoids it easily.

Henderson tries to land knees in the clinch but Eggman avoids the damage to the body. Henderson goes for a takedown attempt but Eggman pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Eggman dives in for a single leg takedown but Henderson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Henderson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Henderson wants it to stay on the feet. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Henderson. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Henderson throws a push kick but Eggman slaps the foot to one side. Henderson lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

Henderson looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Eggman trying to hold on to Henderson's head to control him but Henderson postures up.

Eggman pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Eggman is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Eggman fails in his attempt to clinch. Henderson drops down looking for a counter takedown but Eggman sprawls and moves away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eggman shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Henderson pinned against the cage. Henderson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Henderson shoots in but Eggman avoids the takedown attempt easily. Eggman shoots in for a double leg but Henderson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Robbie Henderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Eggman. Henderson keeps the fight on the outside. Henderson throws out a leg kick but Eggman moves out of range and Henderson only half commits. No luck for Henderson with that takedown attempt. Eggman shoots in and drives through. Henderson sprawls well. Henderson lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Eggman circles away quickly and effectively. Eggman tries to counter with a clinch but Henderson shakes him off and moves away. Eggman rushes Henderson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Eggman takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Eggman pressing his opponent against the cage. Eggman wants to take the fight to the mat but Henderson manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Henderson has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Eggman clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Eggman turns into Henderson and is now in his guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Robbie Henderson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Henderson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
