Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Esko Morko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Janu Haperenu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morko kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Sound Of Thunder. On his way into the cage it seems that Esko Morko has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Esko Morko seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Esko Morko!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Janu Haperenu!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Ren Mimura and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haperenu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Morko misses with an uppercut.
Haperenu misses with a takedown attempt - Morko sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The fighters circle momentarily. Morko darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
It looks like Janu Haperenu has been cut.
Morko moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Morko lands a high kick to the side of Haperenu's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Morko dives into guard, looking to finish.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Haperenu is looking for a triangle but Morko pushes his legs off easily.
Morko decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Haperenu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Morko bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Haperenu looks gassed!
Morko lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Haperenu crumples to the floor! Morko milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Esko Morko!
