Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rudy Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Badger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jack Badger will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Badger! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Badger displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Wade. Badger throws a counter combo. Badger lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Wade circles away quickly and effectively. Wade has Badger up against the cage in a clinch.
Badger tries to break the clinch but Wade is controlling the position. Badger gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Wade.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Rudy Wade. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Badger tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Badger pulls Wade in close to prevent any damage. Badger wants to stand and escape but Wade is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wade tries to free his leg and advance position but Badger is retaining full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wade controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Wade trying to control but Badger is working from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. No luck with that takedown attempt from Wade. Badger is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Wade clinches up with Badger and pushes him back against the cage. Badger tries for a takedown. No joy.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wade is defending well against a takedown attempt. Wade has Badger pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Wade pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Badger tumbling to the mat - Wade dives into Badger's guard. Badger keeping full guard, as Wade tries to pass. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wade is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rudy Wade will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Wade takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Badger throws a right hand that Wade ducks under and follows up with a left that Wade also avoids with ease. Badger looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Wade! Badger cracks Wade with a big right hand but Wade just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Badger wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Wade, who protects the arm well. Wade is trying to control Badger's posture but Badger avoids it. Wade knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Badger on the ground. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Badger tries for a kimura but Wade is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Badger tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Badger wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wade keeps working. Wade on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wade tries to get out of the position. Wade is trying to get back to half guard. Wade takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Badger goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Wade has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Badger but great work by Wade. Badger has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Badger is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wade tries to advance to mount but can't. Wade trying to control the action but Badger is working from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wade tries to move to mount but Badger blocks the move with his legs. Badger is not content to let Wade control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Badger trying to remain calm as Wade controls from the top position. Wade wants to lay and pray for a moment but Badger keeps working. Wade tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Badger tries to bench press Wade off him but Wade keeps the position.

Wade tries to advance to mount but Badger instead regains half guard. Wade wants to advance to full mount but Badger doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead. Wade has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Wade wants to pass the guard but Badger is keeping the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wade closes the distance and pushes Badger back into the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Badger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. And we move into the final round!

Wade is looking to reverse the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Badger looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Wade is avoiding damage well.

He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Badger seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Wade has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Badger sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Wade stalling away here and it's allowed Badger to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Wade stops Badger from standing up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Badger keeping moving, preventing Wade from controlling successfully. Wade wants to pass the guard but Badger is keeping the position. Wade's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Badger had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wade defends it easily. Badger takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Wade tries to free his leg and advance position but Badger is retaining full guard. Jack Badger has got the better of the ground game so far. Badger wants to stand and escape but Wade is having none of it.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Wade fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wade tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Badger manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Badger misses with a kick to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Wade moves into range and clinches up with Badger. Wade drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Wade tries to score a body lock takedown but Badger shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Wade is trying to trip Badger. And that's the end of the fight! Jack Badger comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Badger has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
