Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Diego Dominiguez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kid Diddler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diego Dominiguez could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Kid Diddler's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Diego Dominiguez! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 10 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kid Diddler! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Eddie Farnsworth and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diddler misses with a looping left. Dominiguez throws a jab when Diddler was well out of range. Dominiguez looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Diddler digs a good hook to Dominiguez's body.
Diddler is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. A left and a right from Diddler both land. Nice combination. Diddler takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Dominiguez gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. A short right from Dominiguez. Diddler escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Diddler throws a series of punches but Dominiguez moves out of range. Diddler scores with a nice head shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dominiguez falls off balance throwing a combination
and Diddler counters with a right hand to the body. Diddler tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dominiguez manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dominiguez shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Diddler is looking to improve his position.
Dominiguez controlling the pace. Dominiguez slips a nice elbow through Diddler's hands, connecting with Diddler's forehead. Dominiguez not landing any meaningful shots this time. Dominiguez is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Dominiguez is figuring out what he wants to do next.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Diddler is not content to let Dominiguez control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dominiguez content to control rather than advance. Ground and pound from Dominiguez. Dominiguez trying to control the pace. Dominiguez throwing shots but Diddler is blocking nicely.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dominiguez is looking to take a break and control but Diddler is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dominiguez thows a huge punch but Diddler dodges it nicely.
Diddler is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Diddler keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Dominiguez throws a strike but Diddler avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Diddler can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dominiguez controls the pace. Dominiguez working some strikes from top position. Dominiguez lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Dominiguez controls from within his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dominiguez throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Dominiguez lands a couple of elbows. Diddler is trying to keep Dominiguez in close.
Dominiguez not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Dominiguez got a little sloppy there for a moment and Diddler has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Dominiguez has managed to get both his arms back between Diddler's legs - danger averted. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dominiguez landing some decent shots from guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Diego Dominiguez dominated that round. That's time! Dominiguez's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Dominiguez throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dominiguez misses with a right hand and Diddler counters with a nice uppercut. Dominiguez closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Diddler tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Dominiguez's elbow. Dominiguez lands a good knee to the midsection. Diddler won't want to take too many of those. Diddler trying to control the position but instead, Dominiguez has worked for underhooks and has pushed Diddler into the cage. Dominiguez has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Diddler is trying to keep an underhook but Dominiguez manages to get the takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dominiguez content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dominiguez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Diddler keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Diddler wants to get back to full guard but Dominiguez has mounted him! Dominiguez tries to control but Diddler wriggling away. Diddler gets back to half guard. Dominiguez throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Dominiguez perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Dominiguez wants to free his trapped foot but Diddler is holding on for dear life with his legs. Diddler taking some punishment here, with Dominiguez in his half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dominiguez missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Dominiguez is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Dominiguez is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Diddler can do to turn this around? Diddler has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dominiguez is working away from the top position though. Dominiguez sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Diddler defending well though. Diddler is looking for a sweep. Dominiguez is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Diddler wants to get back to full guard but Dominiguez has mounted him! Dominiguez landing strikes from the mount and Diddler is in trouble!
Diddler is rocked! Dominiguez unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Diddler wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Dominiguez celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!
