The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Briscow forces Sparx back against the cage and clinches.
Briscow ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Briscow no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Sparx trying to control but Briscow is working from the bottom.
Briscow has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Sparx must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Briscow could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Sparx scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Oh Briscow is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sparx gets to his feet and stands over Briscow, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Briscow felt that one! Sparx unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Briscow from any more punishment!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Iggy Sparx!
A very excited looking Iggy Sparx made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
