Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between William Waddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chuck Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, William Waddell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Liddell! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Waddell slips under a jab. Waddell is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Waddell fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Liddell throws a head kick that misses. Waddell tries to close the distance and clinch but Liddell swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Liddell has Waddell up against the cage in a clinch.
Liddell wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Waddell keeps control of Liddell as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Waddell misses with a knee strike.

Liddell wants to break the clinch but can't.

That's one minute gone in the round. Liddell tries to close the distance and clinch up but Waddell swats him away and circles back towards the center. Waddell tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Liddell paws at him with a jab and circles away. Waddell darts in trying to clinch and Liddell counters with a stiff right hand. A head kick misses from Liddell. Waddell gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Liddell slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Liddell looking to sit in guard and control but Waddell gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Liddell can do anything to dispel that myth.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Liddell tries to land a sweep but no joy. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Waddell stops Liddell from standing up. Liddell tries to land a sweep but no joy. Waddell pushes down on Liddell's leg and manages to get into half guard. Liddell is trying to control but can't.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Waddell prevents Liddell from improving his position. Waddell stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Liddell to get to his feet. Liddell will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Liddell looks gassed! Liddell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Waddell is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Waddell darts in trying to clinch and Liddell counters with a nice double leg into side control. Waddell won't be happy with that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Waddell wants to control but Liddell postures up. Liddell wants to stand but Waddell has his arm trapped. Waddell is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Liddell asserts his dominance and retains side control. Liddell is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Liddell postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck Liddell dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Liddell fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. The fight stays on the outside here - Liddell looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Waddell is looking to clinch but Liddell is avoiding it.
Waddell shoots in and bounces Liddell off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Waddell won't allow Liddell to sweep him here. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Waddell wants to stand but Liddell is controlling his posture from full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liddell throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Liddell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Waddell. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Waddell stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Liddell swivels though and keeps the full guard. Waddell wants to stand but Liddell is controlling his posture from full guard. Liddell will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Liddell has Waddell pulled in close to control his posture. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Liddell is on top in guard.
Liddell not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Waddell is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Waddell can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Liddell controls the pace. Liddell gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Liddell.
Waddell checks a leg kick. Liddell looks for a takedown but Waddell sprawls well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Waddell avoids the head kick by Liddell.
Liddell bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Waddell takes a kick to the side of the head. Waddell fails in his attempt to clinch. Liddell lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Liddell shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Waddell but Waddell pushes him off and we're back to square one. William Waddell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chuck Liddell. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Waddell closes the distance but Liddell moves to the side so Liddell counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chuck Liddell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Waddell tries to clinch but fails miserably and Liddell counters with a shoot takedown. Waddell fights it but they end up in guard. Liddell pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Waddell is keeping the position for now. Waddell escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Liddell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Liddell seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liddell's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Waddell looking for a sweep. Not yet Waddell, not yet. Liddell content to stall in guard here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Liddell decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Waddell, up you get! William Waddell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Liddell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Waddell is trying to stand up. Liddell unloading with bombs! Liddell avoids the attempt from Waddell to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Waddell keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Liddell lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Waddell hang on? Liddell scores with a couple of good head shots there.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Waddell trying desperately to get to his feet.
Waddell is in a horrible position here. Liddell smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Liddell working for a submission but Waddell is keeping him at bay. Liddell cracks Waddell with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
And that's the end of the fight! Chuck Liddell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Liddell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
