Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jake Longhall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brown Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson comes into a darkened arena with his song building. crazy bitch kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Brown Wilson told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jake Longhall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 26 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Brown Wilson! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Trevor Gratis and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Longhall scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
It looks like Brown Wilson has been cut. Wilson looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Longhall! Wilson staying calm. Wilson postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Wilson creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Wilson in side control lands a decent elbow. Wilson is putting a hurting on Longhall here, landing some big shots from side control. Wilson staying calm.

Wilson lands some shots froms side control. Longhall prevents Wilson from improving position. Wilson lands an elbow. Longhall taking punishment in the form of punches.
The ground and pound from Wilson seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Wilson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Wilson remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The referee will try and keep them active though. Longhall defending against the ground and pound. Wilson grinds an elbow into Longhall's temple.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here. Wilson's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Longhall throws a right and a left that both miss. Wilson drives through with a takedown into Longhall's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Wilson makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Longhall looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Longhall knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilson on the ground. Longhall being controlled here, momentarily. It looks like Wilson might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Wilson lands a couple of decent looking shots. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wilson stands up over Longhall, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brown Wilson dominated that round. The cut man is working on Brown Wilson's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Longhall misses with a series of wild punches.
Wilson tries a quick counter leg kick but Longhall is wise to it. Wilson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Wilson missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Wilson is thwarting Longhall's attempts to control the position. Wilson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Longhall with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilson throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Wilson controlling the pace.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Longhall lands a two punch combo.
Longhall looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Wilson has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Longhall lands a jab to the nose. Jake Longhall is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. A nice leg kick lands there from Longhall. Wilson wants to clinch up but Longhall keeps it at a distance. Longhall swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Wilson is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Longhall moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Longhall pulls out of a head kick attempt.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Wilson scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Longhall taking punishment in the form of punches.
Longhall on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Longhall tries to get out of the position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wilson is working Longhall over with some ground and pound from side control. Longhall is trying to escape the position but Wilson is controlling the position. Sloppy strikes there by Wilson. Wilson cracks Longhall with a big right hand but Longhall just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Longhall is working to avoid the ground and pound but Wilson connects with a decent elbow. Wilson content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Longhall is trying to escape the position but Wilson is controlling the position. Wilson scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Longhall to see if he's OK. Wilson advances nicely into full mount. Wilson raining down shots from the mount! Wilson with shots to the head and body - Longhall looks very uncomfortable down there.

Wilson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Brown Wilson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Brown Wilson's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Longhall wants to clinch up but Wilson keeps it at a distance. Longhall tests Wilson's chin there with a solid looking shot. Longhall rushes Wilson and presses him up against the cage. Longhall is defending well against a takedown attempt. Longhall creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Wilson's defenses. Wilson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Longhall after a bit of a struggle. Wilson is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Jake Longhall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brown Wilson. Longhall tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Wilson avoids it. Wilson tries for a takedown but Longhall manages to get underhooks.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wilson tries to score a body lock takedown but Longhall shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Wilson's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Wilson wants a takedown.
Wilson is looking to take this one to the mat. Longhall works on Wilson's body with a couple of short punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Longhall fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Jake Longhall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Longhall lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Longhall throws a nice looking combination but Wilson bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A punch combination from Longhall misses. Wilson flicks out a counter leg kick but Longhall steps away. Wilson fails with the takedown. Longhall misses with a jab, cross combination.
Wilson needs to keep his hands up - Longhall had a free shot at his head there. Longhall moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Wilson shoots in and bounces Longhall off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Wilson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Brown Wilson has got the better of the ground game so far. Wilson throws a big elbow that misses. Wilson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Wilson postures up and lands a big shot to Longhall's brow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wilson lands a couple of digs. Wilson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Longhall preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Longhall throws a body punch but Wilson moves out of range. Wilson changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Wilson shoots in for a takedown but Longhall shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Wilson feints and as Longhall raises his hands in defense, Wilson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Wilson is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Longhall preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wilson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Wilson advances nicely into full mount. Wilson working the ground and pound effectively.
Longhall is in a horrible position here. Wilson smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

And that's the end of the fight! Jake Longhall showed his dominance in that final round. I think Wilson has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Brown Wilson! After the fight, Brown Wilson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
