Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Eric Lynch!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 26 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Barry Allen!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allen fails with an attempt to clinch.
Allen is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Allen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Allen throws a low kick but Lynch avoids it.
It looked like Lynch wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Allen just misses with a punch to the body.
Lynch bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Allen lands with a nice body kick.
Allen explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Allen lands with a thumping leg kick.
Lynch thumps Allen with a low kick.
Allen swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Lynch takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Allen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Lynch manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
As Allen backs away, Lynch returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Lynch tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Lynch thuds his right hand into Allen's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Lynch looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Allen throws a leg kick

and Lynch counters with a single leg into guard. Allen didn't expect that.

Lynch won't allow Allen to sweep him here.
Allen pulls Lynch in to control the position.
Lynch trying to control but Allen is working from the bottom.

Allen isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Lynch stacks Allen on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Lynch!
You can see the frustration on Allen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Allen is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lynch off and has taken his back!

Allen is looking to control Lynch but Lynch is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Lynch is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Allen.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Allen struggling to land strikes to the head as Lynch covers up.
Even with his hooks in, Allen manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Lynch covers up after that shot from Allen.
Lynch looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

Allen lands with a hammerfist to the side of Lynch's head.

Allen patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?

Allen is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Lynch has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Allen scores with some strikes to the side of the head there. Good, points scoring shots.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Allen is trying to control but Lynch is trying to escape here - he's now mounted.

Allen avoids the attempt from Lynch to control.
Allen unloads with some shots from mount but Lynch bucks and avoids them well.
Allen misses with a head shot.
Lynch really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Allen trying to control but Lynch is having none of it.

Lynch throws a leg kick
and Lynch takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Allen connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Allen throws the kick towards the body but Lynch avoids it.
Allen moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Allen throws out a loose jab but Lynch uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lynch looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Allen scores with a spinning back kick!
Nice defenses there by Lynch.
Allen scores with the left hand. Lynch knows he should have avoided that one.
Allen swings for the body but Lynch moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lynch misses with a kick to the body.
Allen is looking to chop away at Lynch's legs.
Lynch throws a lazy body kick
and Allen counters with a straight right hand.


Lynch is rocked!
Allen has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
Allen throws an uppercut from hell that sends Lynch clean off his feet! He's out cold! Allen stands back and admires his work as he thinks about that KO of the night award that is surely being wrapped up for him back stage.
