The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bolick rushes Mohammed and presses him up against the cage. Mohammed has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Bolick gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Bolick trying to stand up but can't free himself from Mohammed's guard. Mohammed is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Bolick rolls with it to try and escape but Mohammed cranks on the arm and Bolick is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jamal Mohammed! In his post fight interview, Jamal Mohammed started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
