Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jin Kim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bradley Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson has chosen Can't Hold Us as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Jin Kim!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Bradley Johnson!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnson misses with a hook.
Kim is looking to counter punch.
Johnson throws a poor cross that misses
and Kim counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Johnson thinking.
Kim has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Danga de danga de dang - Johnson scores with a four punch combination!


It looks like Jin Kim has been cut.
Johnson misses with a hook
and Kim counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Kim fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Johnson on the side of the head.
Johnson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Kim avoids a punch combination nicely.
Kim swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Johnson throws a hook to the side of Kim's head but Kim sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kim is looking to counter punch.
Johnson cracks Kim with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Johnson throws a wild body kick that Kim sees coming a mile off.
Bradley Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Johnson misses with a jab to the body
letting Kim counter with a right hand.
Johnson lands a head kick. Kim smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Crunch! Johnson slams his shin into Kim's torso.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kim needs to keep his hands up - Johnson had a free shot at his head there.


Kim is rocked!
Kim throws a looping overhand right but Johnson ducks down to avoid it.
Oh Kim is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A big left from Johnson misses.
Johnson misses with an uppercut. Kim saw that one coming.
Kim throwing a counter right hand but Johnson manages to avoid it.
Johnson throws a series of punches but Kim avoids them all with ease.
Kim seems to have got his legs back now.
A telegraphed right hand from Johnson misses the target.
Kim was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Johnson takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.


Johnson is rocked!
Johnson throws a lazy body kick
and Kim rattles Johnson with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Johnson tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Kim dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Johnson stiff and motionless on the mat!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jin Kim!
Jin Kim was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
