Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between James Chaney (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juul Hupperts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, James Chaney! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Juul Hupperts! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Chaney gets caught napping as Hupperts dives in and scores a takedown. Chaney manages to retain guard. Hupperts controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Hupperts looking to pass the guard. Hupperts is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Hupperts must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hupperts throws a strike but Chaney rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Hupperts is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Hupperts is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Chaney defends it well. Hupperts missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Hupperts lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Chaney is trying to stand.
Hupperts seems to be looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Hupperts sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Chaney defending well though. Hupperts content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Hupperts is looking for a kimura but Chaney is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hupperts to get the leverage. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hupperts looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Chaney with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Chaney is looking to improve his position.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hupperts in particular looking to stall. Hupperts trying to pass the guard but Chaney defending well. Chaney is looking to control Hupperts's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Chaney avoid being mounted?
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Chaney closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Chaney lands in his opponent's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hupperts looking for a sweep. Not yet Hupperts, not yet. Hupperts has Chaney pulled in close to control his posture. Hupperts is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Hupperts throwing shots but Chaney is blocking nicely. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hupperts is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Hupperts is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juul Hupperts dominated that round. That's time! Chaney's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Chaney throws a body kick that misses and Hupperts connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Chaney forces Hupperts back against the cage and clinches. Hupperts has Chaney pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Hupperts pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Chaney tumbling to the mat - Hupperts dives into Chaney's guard. Hupperts is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Chaney throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Hupperts postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Hupperts trying to control the position from guard on top but Chaney is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chaney being controlled here, momentarily. Chaney really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Hupperts stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chaney swivels though and keeps the full guard. Juul Hupperts has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Chaney avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Hupperts showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Chaney working a defensive guard here.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Hupperts closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Chaney's guard. Hupperts controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hupperts works over Chaney with some ground and pound from guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hupperts throwing strikes from guard but Chaney blocks nicely. Hupperts stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chaney swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hupperts landing some decent shots from guard. Hupperts looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Chaney looking to control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hupperts is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Hupperts throwing strikes but missing. Hupperts controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Chaney drives through with a takedown into Hupperts's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Hupperts has Chaney pulled in close to control his posture. Hupperts's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Our spies down at at Bi-polar Asylum inform us that Hupperts has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
That's four minutes gone in the round. Chaney won't allow Hupperts to sweep him here. Hupperts looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Chaney has picked Hupperts up and slammed him! Hupperts can't keep hold of the triangle and Chaney manages to pass to side control! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hupperts is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Chaney's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Hupperts is positioning himself well to prevent Chaney advancing to mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Juul Hupperts showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Hupperts gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Chaney to score an easy takedown into full guard. Chaney wants to control from the top but Hupperts keeps moving. Hupperts is adopting a defensive guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hupperts is looking for a triangle but Chaney pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hupperts lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Hupperts advances position into side control! Hupperts is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Chaney is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Hupperts is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Chaney knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Chaney wants to control but Hupperts postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Chaney tries to get back to half guard but can't. Chaney is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Chaney gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Hupperts is looking for a kimura here.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hupperts connects with a nice short shot to Chaney's temple. Juul Hupperts is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hupperts frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Chaney is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Hupperts controlling the position easily from mount. More stalling from Hupperts. Chaney is looking to improve his position but Hupperts isn't that keen on the idea.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hupperts raining down shots from the mount! Hupperts looking to control and managing it successfully. Chaney can't escape the position.
Hupperts fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Chaney is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Hupperts lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Hupperts controlling his opponent. James Chaney has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Hupperts lands a nice shot to the head.
And that's the end of the fight! Juul Hupperts comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Hupperts winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
