Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jim Reefer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Leo Vellucci (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jim Reefer has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jim Reefer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Leo Vellucci! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reefer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Reefer moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromVellucci. Vellucci on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Vellucci has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Reefer finds it's way round the side to connect with Vellucci's head. Vellucci lands a nice looking body kick. Vellucci throws a right and a left that Reefer avoids nicely. Reefer gets tackled into the cage by Vellucci. Vellucci maintains the clinch. Reefer blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Vellucci looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Reefer misses with a short punch on the inside. Nice elbow from Vellucci. Vellucci missing with knees to the body.

Reefer jumps into guard, dragging Vellucci to the mat.
Reefer will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Reefer has an active guard here but Vellucci has managed to pass into half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Reefer is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Vellucci pulls his head out easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Vellucci wants to stand but Reefer has hold of a leg and an arm, so he's trapped for now. Reefer holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Reefer trying to control from the bottom.
Vellucci tries to stand but can't do so whilst Reefer controls his leg. Vellucci is thwarting Reefer's attempts to control the position. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Vellucci takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Vellucci looks like he wants to counter punch here. Vellucci moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Reefer moves out of range as Vellucci strikes. Reefer misses with a jab, cross combination.
Vellucci throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Reefer waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Vellucci. Vellucci looks like he wants to counter punch here. Vellucci misses with a low kick. Reefer attempts a counter takedown but Vellucci avoids it well and moves away. Leo Vellucci seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Vellucci lands a jab. Vellucci dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Reefer. That did some damage!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reefer moves into range and connects with a jab. Vellucci avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Reefer on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Vellucci tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Leo Vellucci is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Reefer clobbers Vellucci with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Reefer is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. A lazy body kick from Reefer and Vellucci counters with a nice body kick. Reefer throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Vellucci feints a counter leg kick. Vellucci scores with a decent looking hook. Nice defenses there by Vellucci. Vellucci tries to land a front kick but Reefer steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Vellucci works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Vellucci lands a brutal head kick. Reefer looks out on his feet and Vellucci throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
