Cartwright comes into the arena with St. Anger blaring out of the sound system. Chesney Page has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Cortland Cartwright's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Page swats away the attempt to clinch by Cartwright.
Page drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Cartwright defends it well.
Page is looking to slow Cartwright down with leg kicks.
Cartwright is looking to clinch.
Cartwright throws a leg kick but Page moved away.
Page scores with a nice strike.
Cartwright with a poor takedown
and Page counters with a stiff right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A slapping leg kick lands for Page.
Cartwright has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Page.
Page defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cartwright.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Page! But no joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cortland Cartwright. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Cartwright fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Page now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
A jab from Page does it's job there.
Page throws a nice inside leg kick.
Cartwright tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Page defends well and Cartwright ends up having to push Page into the ropes where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Cartwright takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Page lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.

Cartwright walks into a left hand.
Page buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Cartwright throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Page, right into the meat.
Cartwright is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Page lands with a shot to the body.
Page throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Page tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cartwright was well out of range. Poor timing from Page.
Cartwright drops down looking for a counter takedown but Page sprawls and moves away.
A nice leg kick lands there from Page.
Page attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Page throws a nice looking combination but Cartwright bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Page lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Page throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Page throws a leg kick which misses Cartwright's front leg but catches the back leg as Cartwright tries to avoid it.
Cartwright takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Page fakes the leg kick and cracks Cartwright in the body.
Page seems to be stalking Cartwright here. He circles momentarily and then unleashes a devastatic head kick! Cartwright drops like a stone, out cold! WOW! Are you kidding me!? What a knockout!

Cortland Cartwright spoke after the fight, saying 'My opponent was a worth adversary. I will get better and come again.'.
