Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vladimir Duris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregor McConnor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duris kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Noise. McConnor has chosen Dropkick Murphys - Going Out In Style as his entrance music. Gregor McConnor acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McConnor connects with a crisp jab.

McConnor uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Duris.
McConnor appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

Duris swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
McConnor stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Duris sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Duris takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

McConnor looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
McConnor moves out of range of the strikes.
Duris ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McConnor moves away.
McConnor lands with a nice body punch.

and McConnor finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Duris is breathing heavily.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from McConnor, right into the meat.

and McConnor counters with an inside leg kick.
McConnor avoids the body shot from Duris.

Duris tries to bum rush McConnor with a series of wild strikes but McConnor uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McConnor clobbers Duris with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McConnor connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Good exchange - McConnor coming out on top.
McConnor throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Duris stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
McConnor fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Duris looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Duris takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
McConnor lands a nice looking body shot.
McConnor feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Duris's calf.
McConnor has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.
McConnor feints and then cracks Duris's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Duris down.
McConnor connects with a nice looking jab.
Vladimir Duris's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Duris takes a shot to the body in his stride.
McConnor chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Crunch! McConnor slams his shin into Duris's torso.
Duris misses the shot to the body.
McConnor throws a leg kick which misses Duris's front leg but catches the back leg as Duris tries to avoid it.

McConnor lands the left hand.
McConnor digs a good hook to Duris's body.
McConnor lands a nice hook to Duris's body. Duris takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
McConnor dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Duris. That did some damage!
McConnor with a body punch. A glancing blow.

Duris chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before McConnor can pounce on him.
McConnor lets loose with a powerful body kick. Duris will feel that in the morning.
Duris takes a kick to the side of the head.
Jeez, Vladimir Duris's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
McConnor lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Duris walks into a straight right hand from McConnor.
Duris's legs have taken a beating and he's really slowing down as a result.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Duris crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from McConnor - the referee stops the clock and Duris gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says McConnor. Duris manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
McConnor lands a slapping body shot.
McConnor scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Duris has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from McConnor finds it's way round the side to connect with Duris's head.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Vladimir Duris's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Gregor McConnor!
A very excited looking Gregor McConnor made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
