Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Bill Dobbins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). King Kong will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bill Dobbins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, King Kong! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Donald Grub and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dobbins drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kong tries to improve position but can't. Dobbins is putting a hurting on Kong here, landing some big shots from side control. Dobbins landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Kong tries to bench press Dobbins off him but Dobbins keeps the position. Dobbins grinds an elbow into Kong's temple. Dobbins scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Kong to see if he's OK. Kong tries to improve position but can't. Dobbins cracks Kong with a big right hand but Kong just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Kong gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Kong looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dobbins stalling. Dobbins seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Dobbins lands a nice short elbow. Dobbins slips a nice elbow through Kong's hands, connecting with Kong's forehead. Dobbins slows the pace down in half guard. Dobbins looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kong on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Dobbins working over Kong with some ground and pound. Kong looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Kong gets full guard. Our spies down at at Soul Supremacy - UK inform us that Kong has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Dobbins sitting in guard, not really doing much. Dobbins trying to control but Kong is working from the bottom. Dobbins is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Dobbins lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Dobbins not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dobbins scoring with some ground and pound. Dobbins stays in close to Kong's body and controls the position. Dobbins works over Kong with some ground and pound from guard. Dobbins is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Dobbins working some strikes from top position. Dobbins has gone for a leg lock! Kong slips out almost immediately though and dives into Dobbins's guard. Kong wants to pass the guard but Dobbins is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dobbins has his hands on Kong's head, controlling the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kong accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kong being controlled here momentarily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dobbins is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Kong is controlling him. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dobbins looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Dobbins keeps the fight on the outside. Kong gets caught napping as Dobbins dives in and scores a takedown. Kong manages to retain guard. Dobbins is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kong can do to turn this around? Dobbins controlling from the top position. Kong escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dobbins gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kong is on top in guard.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dobbins content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Kong lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Kong being controlled here momentarily. Kong wants to control from the top but Dobbins keeps moving. Dobbins wants to stand and escape but Kong is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kong trying to control but Dobbins is working from the bottom. Dobbins is looking to stand up but Kong isn't so interested in that idea. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Dobbins is pulling down on Kong's head. It's preventing any offense from Kong, at least for the moment. Kong tries to free his leg and advance position but Dobbins is retaining full guard. Dobbins managing to control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kong gets caught flat footed, as Dobbins shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Dobbins controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Dobbins cracks Kong with a solid left hand. Kong lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Dobbins pulls Kong in close to prevent any damage. Dobbins keeping moving, preventing Kong from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dobbins seems keen to control Kong's posture. Kong showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Kong trying to control the position from guard on top but Dobbins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kong pushing down on Dobbins's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dobbins is positioning himself well to prevent Kong advancing to mount. Kong is looking for a kimura here.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bill Dobbins will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Dobbins misses with a wild body shot. Kong tries to clinch and Dobbins counters with a nice double leg into side control. Kong won't be happy with that. Kong manages to get back to half guard. Dobbins working over Kong with some ground and pound. Kong looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Dobbins wants to control from the top but Kong keeps moving. Dobbins has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dobbins is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Kong has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Dobbins is looking to defend but Kong has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Dobbins! Kong pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Dobbins taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:43 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). King Kong! After the fight, King Kong was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
