Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Danillo Tasic! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steve Rogers! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Nard Betker and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A shot to the body from Rogers misses and Tasic counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Rogers lands a slapping body shot.
Rogers fails with the takedown letting Tasic counter with a right hand. Rogers shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Rogers showed some decent athleticism there. Rogers prevents Tasic from improving his position. Tasic is not content to let Rogers control the position. Rogers missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Tasic is concentrating on defense, preventing Rogers from advancing position. Rogers is pressing down on Tasic's thigh, looking to free his foot. Tasic is holding on for now. Tasic is positioning himself well to prevent Rogers advancing to mount. Tasic trying to control from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tasic wants to improve his position but Rogers is controlling well.

Rogers must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Rogers postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Tasic lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Rogers fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Tasic manages to avoid it. Rogers misses with a straight left. Rogers fails with the takedown and Tasic counters with a series of strikes. Rogers will be more careful next time no doubt. Rogers shoots in looking for a takedown but Tasic manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rogers's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Danillo Tasic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Rogers. Rogers looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Tasic pulls Rogers in close to prevent any damage. Tasic wants to sweep here but Rogers controlling him for the moment. Tasic not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Tasic wants to sweep here but Rogers controlling him for the moment. Rogers postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Tasic bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rogers's guard. Tasic postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Tasic stopping the sweep attempt from Rogers. Rogers keeping moving, preventing Tasic from controlling successfully. Rogers wants to sweep but no luck. Tasic in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Rogers looking for a sweep. Not yet Rogers, not yet. Tasic throws an elbow that misses. Rogers uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tasic's guard. Nice move by Rogers! Tasic trying to control the position here. Tasic not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Steve Rogers will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Rogers walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Rogers ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tasic moves away. As Rogers looks to move away, Tasic throws a big counter combo bu Rogers just gets out of the way. Tasic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Tasic lets loose with a powerful body kick. Rogers will feel that in the morning. Tasic uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rogers.
Tasic throws a sloppy head kick and Rogers moves out of range easily. Rogers throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tasic tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rogers is in Tasic's guard. Rogers working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Tasic looking for a sweep. Not yet Tasic, not yet. Steve Rogers has got the better of the ground game so far. Tasic can't keep his opponent in guard - Rogers advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Tasic is holding on to half guard well. Tasic wants to get back to full guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Rogers lands a nice short elbow. Tasic is looking to improve his position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tasic wants to control but Rogers is keeping busy and won't allow it. Rogers is trying to control. Tasic wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Rogers scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Rogers trying to control from half guard but Tasic is working away. Tasic gets back to full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Tasic is on top in guard.
Tasic is in close to Rogers's body, working some short punches and elbows. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rogers is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Tasic gets full guard.

He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Tasic wants to free his trapped foot but Rogers is holding on for dear life with his legs. Rogers is looking to improve his position.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Tasic prevents Rogers from getting the reversal. Rogers tries to hold on but Tasic pushes him away. Tasic misses with a head shot. Tasic working away from the top, dropping strikes. Tasic goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Rogers turns into him and now he's in Tasic's guard.
Tasic controlling the position. Rogers tries to free his leg and advance position but Tasic is retaining full guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tasic has control of Rogers's left arm, preventing Rogers from doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Danillo Tasic will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Tasic takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Tasic looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Rogers closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tasic circles away. Tasic thinks about countering with a body kick. Steve Rogers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Rogers tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Tasic swivels and escapes. Tasic wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch. Tasic throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rogers on the side of the head. Nice body kick from Tasic. Rogers gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Tasic makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Danillo Tasic has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Steve Rogers. Tasic throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rogers. Rogers takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rogers throws a body shot but no joy. Tasic explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Rogers shoots in but no luck this time. Rogers misses with an uppercut. Tasic saw that one coming. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! No luck for Rogers with that takedown attempt. Rogers takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Rogers is fighting to break Tasic's control of his arms but Tasic is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Tasic has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Rogers stopping the sweep attempt from Tasic. The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Tasic scores with a crisp jab that stopped Rogers in his tracks. Rogers scores with a shot to the body.
Tasic throws a head kick that Rogers semi-blocks.
Rogers looks to throw the jab but Tasic is out of range. A decent looking body kick lands there for Tasic. Tasic throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Rogers.
It looks like Steve Rogers has been cut. Rogers shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Tasic counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Tasic leaves Rogers with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Rogers scores with a nice head shot.
And that's the end of the fight! Danillo Tasic showed his dominance in that final round. I think Tasic has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
