Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gore Malicious (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ted Butler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ted Butler told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ted Butler!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Malicious tries to clinch but Butler moves out of range.
Malicious gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Butler swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Butler breaks from the clinch.
Malicious is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Butler is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Butler is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Malicious moves into the clinch successfully.
Malicious lands a hook to the side of the head.
Butler tries to pull guard but Malicious holds him up against the cage and eventually Butler drops back down to his feet.

Malicious is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Butler is keeping busy.
Butler is trying to pull guard but Malicious turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Malicious throws a knee to the head but misses.
Malicious lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

That has opened up Ted Butler's cut even more.
Butler tries to pull guard but Malicious holds him up against the cage and eventually Butler drops back down to his feet.

Gore Malicious has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ted Butler.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch.
Malicious has Butler pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Butler is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Malicious - that's hurt Butler badly! Oh, another knee lands and Butler is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Butler doesn't seem to be complaining.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Knees). Gore Malicious!
