Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Quirinus Rai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Twos Twos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jimmy Twos Twos will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Twos with a hook.

Twos gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Rai loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rai stands and throws Twos's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Rai lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Twos down.

It looks like Jimmy Twos Twos has been cut.

Twos parries the strikes from Rai easily there. Rai is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Twos to escape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rai cracks Twos with a big right hand but Twos just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Rai has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Rai looks up at the clock and then as Twos takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Rai smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Rai tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Rai has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Rai looks up at the clock and then as Twos takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Rai smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

The cut above Jimmy Twos Twos's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Twos takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
You can see the frustration on Twos's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Twos managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Rai.
Rai is working Twos over with some ground and pound from side control.
Rai fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Rai tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rai in side control, throwing shots but Twos defends.
The strikes coming from Rai are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
Rai working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.

Jimmy Twos Twos's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jimmy Twos Twos's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
