Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fred Palowakski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conan Balboa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palowakski comes to the cage accompanied by Burning Down the House. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 32 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fred Palowakski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 27 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Conan Balboa!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa swats away the attempt to clinch by Palowakski.
A solid leg kick lands there for Balboa.
Palowakski misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Palowakski checks a low kick from Balboa.

Palowakski fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Balboa to the ground. Palowakski is now in Balboa's guard.

Palowakski seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Palowakski sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Balboa's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Palowakski lands a nice short elbow.
Palowakski working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Palowakski connects with a nice short shot to Balboa's temple.

Palowakski is working for a kimura but Balboa is defending it quite comfortably.

Palowakski seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Balboa for as long as he can get away with.

Palowakski looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Palowakski in particular looking to stall.

Palowakski is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Balboa has managed to free his arm - good work.
Balboa pushes Palowakski off looking to stand but Palowakski dives back in and keeps control.

Palowakski seems to be looking for submissions.
Palowakski is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Palowakski winds up and cracks Balboa with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Palowakski seems to be working for a kimura but Balboa defends the submission attempt.
Palowakski is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Palowakski is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Balboa is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
