And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Parker!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Penn throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Parker takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Penn goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Parker throws a lazy body kick
and Penn counters with a low kick, right behind Parker 's knee.

Penn has managed to clinch.
Penn prevents a takedown attempt there.

and Penn counters with a nice double leg into side control. Parker won't be happy with that.
BJ Penn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Parker.

Penn slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Penn lands a nice looking kick to the body. Parker takes a step back to recover.

and Penn counters with a nice low kick that buckles Parker's knee momentarily.

Penn closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Parker is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Penn off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Parker tries to escape but he's let his defenses down in doing so and Penn has slipped in the rear naked choke! Oh, that's tiiiiiiiiight! Parker is tapping! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
