Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Walter Dunham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mason Graham (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Walter Dunham! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mason Graham! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Graham swings away with a body shot that misses
and Dunham cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Dunham paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Graham connects with a looping right hand.
Graham ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Dunham fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Graham manages to avoid it. Graham swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. No joy there for Graham, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Graham scores with a sloppy right hand. Dunham should have avoided that one. Graham swings widly with a right hand
and Graham takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Graham swings for the body but Dunham moves out of range.

Dunham looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Dunham misses with a hook. Graham ducked under it nicely. Nice takedown defense from Graham. No joy for Dunham on that attempt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. No joy there for Graham, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Dunham swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Graham throws out a loose jab but Dunham uses good head movement to avoid it. An attempted straight right counter from Dunham misses the target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dunham takes a swing at Graham's ribcage but misses. Graham misses with an uppercut. Dunham saw that one coming. Dunham misses with an uppercut. Dunham slips a jab and a cross from Graham.
Dunham is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Dunham scores with a jab. Graham acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Dunham looks to throw the jab but Graham is out of range. Mason Graham is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Graham fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Graham throws a nice looking combination but Dunham bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Graham tries to bum rush Dunham with a series of wild strikes but Dunham uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Graham just misses with a punch to the body.

Dunham has been working on his balance at Spartan MMA, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Graham.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Dunham ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Graham moves away. Dunham throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Dunham is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Graham's half guard. Dunham takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Graham tries to roll over but Dunham keeps him under control. Dunham wants to work for an arm triangle but Graham is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Graham can do anything to dispel that myth. Dunham works his way into side control. Dunham is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Graham has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dunham tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dunham has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Graham wants to control but Dunham postures up. Dunham is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Graham has escaped the position, nice work there. Dunham tries for a kimura but Graham is defending well. Graham is trying to control Dunham's posture but Dunham avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Graham is looking for a sweep. Dunham has knee on belly and moves into mount. Dunham takes his opponent's back. Perhaps a chance to lock up a rear naked choke here.
What can Graham do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Walter Dunham dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Graham cracks Dunham with a good jab. Graham scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Dunham throws a body shot but no joy. It seemed like Graham was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Mason Graham is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Graham getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Mason Graham seems to be getting the better of the standup. Graham lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Dunham shoots for a takedown but Graham saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Graham misses with a looping right. Dunham throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Dunham swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Graham. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Graham throws a shot from downtown. Dunham moves away and avoids it. Graham moves out of range as Dunham strikes. Dunham connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Dunham ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Graham moves away. Nice body punch from Graham.

He catches Graham napping and manages to drive through into side control! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Graham stops Dunham from passing to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dunham looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dunham wants to control but Graham is keeping him busy. Dunham goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Graham has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Dunham but great work by Graham. Dunham tries to improve position but can't. Dunham regains half guard. Dunham has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Graham is working away from the top position though. Graham is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Dunham doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Graham.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Graham is trying to control. Dunham wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Dunham is pressing down on Graham's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Graham advances to half guard. Graham looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Dunham is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Graham trying to control from half guard but Dunham is working away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Graham trying to control the pace. Graham trying to control the action but Dunham is working from the bottom. Dunham wants to get back to full guard. Dunham looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Dunham looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Dunham regains full guard. Nicely done. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Mason Graham will probably get the nod - 10:9. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Graham takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Dunham lands a nice shot to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Graham swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Graham misses with an uppercut. Graham's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Graham duly obliges.

Graham catches Dunham with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Graham jabbing away but nothing is landing. Graham cracks Dunham with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Dunham avoids a punch combination nicely.

Nice straight punches there by Graham. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Graham. This has been an exciting period of action! A big left from Graham misses. Graham on the wrong end of a nice hook. Graham misses with a right hand and Dunham connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Dunham, as that shot connected.
Graham looks to land a right hand but Dunham moved out of range. Dunham closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dunham lands in his opponent's guard. Dunham passes easily into side control. Nice work. Dunham is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Graham knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dunham is looking to take a break and control but Graham is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Graham is trying to improve his position. Walter Dunham overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dunham tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dunham has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Graham is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

You can see the frustration on Graham's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dunham is trying to get an arm triangle but Graham is defending well. Dunham goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Graham has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Dunham but great work by Graham.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Mason Graham. I think Graham has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
