The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Uk lands a nice hook to Buck's body. Buck takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Uk stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Buck.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Uk checks a leg kick.
Uk moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Buck is looking to score with low kicks.
Uk tests Buck's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Uk blocks a head kick by Buck.
Buck slips a jab from Uk.
Buck is looking to counter the offense by Uk and move into the clinch.
Uk lands a head shot.
Uk missing with a left hand there. Buck was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Uk throws a lazy right hand but Buck sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Uk wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Uk fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Buck on the side of the head.
Uk throws a body punch but Buck moves out of range.

Buck throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Buck ducks under a wild hook from Uk.
Buck walks into a jab.
The fighters circling - Uk throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Buck feinted there with a counter leg kick.
A low kick from Buck misses
and Uk counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Buck is rocked!
Uk pounces like a tiger and cracks Buck with a vicious hook! Buck is down but not out! Uk follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!

In his post fight interview, Dong Uk started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
