Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between General Brudus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coke Head (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Coke Head!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Alec Ball and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Brudus drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Head tries to bench press Brudus off him but Brudus keeps the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brudus wants to stand but Head has his arm trapped.
Brudus gets to mount! Head was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Brudus avoids the attempt from Head to control.

Brudus is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Head has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

I really don't envy Head right now.

Brudus shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Brudus was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Head really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brudus. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Brudus tries to get the hooks in deep but Head pushed the leg off.
General Brudus overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
