Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tsagkiris walks into a jab. Tsagkiris is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Freeman. Freeman scores with a jab to the body. Freeman misses with a jab, cross combination.
Freeman connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Nice sprawl there from Freeman as Tsagkiris shoots in. Tsagkiris changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Freeman tries to avoid it but Tsagkiris manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Freeman to the ground. Freeman escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. An attempted straight right counter from Freeman misses the target. Tsagkiris fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Nate Freeman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vaggelis Tsagkiris. Nice takedown defense from Freeman. No joy for Tsagkiris on that attempt. Left hook, right uppercut from Freeman.
It looks like Vaggelis Tsagkiris has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Freeman throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Freeman fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Tsagkiris is out of range. Tsagkiris shoots in looking for a takedown but Freeman manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tsagkiris's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Tsagkiris moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Tsagkiris changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Freeman looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Tsagkiris looks winded! Freeman looking for a sweep but Tsagkiris has passed into full mount! Oh no! Freeman tries to hold on but Tsagkiris pushes him away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tsagkiris looking to control but Freeman is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Freeman tries to hold on but Tsagkiris postures up. Tsagkiris wants to control the pace but Freeman is squirming around nicely. Tsagkiris goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Freeman turns into him and now he's in Tsagkiris's guard.
Tsagkiris working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Freeman doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Freeman manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Freeman wants to control from the top but Tsagkiris keeps moving. Freeman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Freeman throws a big elbow that misses. Tsagkiris utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Freeman in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tsagkiris avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Freeman throws a big elbow that misses. Freeman stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Tsagkiris swivels though and keeps the full guard. Tsagkiris working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Freeman. Freeman working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Freeman trying to control the position from guard on top but Tsagkiris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Freeman thuds a left hand into Tsagkiris's body. Tsagkiris fails with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Freeman cracks Tsagkiris with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Tsagkiris throws a sloppy head kick and Freeman counters with a shoot takedown. Tsagkiris fights it but they end up in guard. Freeman avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Freeman pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tsagkiris is keeping the position for now. Freeman lands a couple of elbows. Freeman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Freeman in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Nate Freeman dominated that round. The cut man is working on Vaggelis Tsagkiris's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Freeman lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. No luck with that takedown attempt from Tsagkiris. Freeman uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tsagkiris.
Tsagkiris shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Freeman sprawls well. Freeman wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Tsagkiris gets slowly back to his feet. Tsagkiris shoots in looking for a takedown. Freeman tries to sprawl out of it but Tsagkiris keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Freeman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Nate Freeman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vaggelis Tsagkiris. Horrible takedown attempt by Tsagkiris or perhaps it was just good defense by Freeman, which made it look bad. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Freeman sizes up Tsagkiris with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Freeman lands a left and a right that send Tsagkiris crashing to the mat, dazed. Freeman thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Tsagkiris is rocked! Tsagkiris is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Freeman drops Tsagkiris with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Tsagkiris looks back up at him and smiles so Freeman waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Tsagkiris is still on wobbly legs! Can Freeman finish him? Freeman goes for a small jab and connects. Now Freeman goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Tsagkiris stumbles back but Freeman runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Tsagkiris to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Tsagkiris will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
