Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Donovan Wall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Borys Maniek (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Donovan Wall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Borys Maniek! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maniek moves into the clinch. Maniek lands a takedown into guard.
Maniek lands a couple of elbows. Maniek is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Wall not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Maniek prevents Wall from getting back to his feet. Wall has a closed guard, preventing Maniek from standing up. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Maniek working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maniek is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Wall looking to hit a scissor sweep but Maniek is one step ahead there.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Maniek scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maniek is taking a breather. Wall says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Maniek's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Let's hope that Maniek has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Maniek prevents Wall from standing back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Maniek trying to pass the guard but Wall defending well. Maniek controlling the action here. More stalling from Maniek.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Maniek stuffs the takedown. Wall checks a leg kick. Excellent takedown into side control there by Maniek. Wall really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wall seems a little lost for a moment, as Maniek dominates the positioning.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wall is looking to regain half guard here but Maniek keeps moving and retains side control. Maniek staying calm. Wall tries to bench press Maniek off him but Maniek keeps the position. Wall struggling a bit here. Maniek tries for a kimura but Wall is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Maniek looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Maniek decides to stand back up. Maniek steps back and let's Wall get back to his feet. Maniek bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Wall tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Maniek wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Maniek tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Maniek slows the pace down. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Borys Maniek dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Maniek looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Borys Maniek has got the better of the ground game so far. Well, if Maniek is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Maniek wants to pass the guard but Wall is defending well. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Maniek in particular looking to stall. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Maniek is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Maniek drops an elbow to the side of Wall's head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Maniek is working for a submission of some sort.
Maniek passes the guard and advances to mount! Wall trying desperately to get to his feet.
Maniek tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Maniek punishing his opponent with strikes. Maniek has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wall is in all sorts of trouble here.
Maniek controlling the pace for now. Maniek in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Wall is rocked! Maniek lands a big shot to the head and Wall winces in pain. He's tapped out due to strikes!
