Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Yann Kerrec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Narikaev Ruslan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Yann Kerrec! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Narikaev Ruslan! The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Steven Brown and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruslan throws a hook to the side of Kerrec's head but Kerrec sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Ruslan with a jab. Kerrec darts in looking for a takedown but Ruslan gets double underhooks and turns Kerrec into the cage. Ruslan looks like he wants to counter punch here. Ruslan loads up on a big right hand but Kerrec slips the punch. Kerrec lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Kerrec misses with a wild body shot. Ruslan swings widly with a right hand
and Kerrec counters with a nice body shot. Ruslan throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Kerrec counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ruslan thinking. Kerrec closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ruslan circles away. Kerrec with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Ruslan to score with a decent uppercut. Ruslan throws a lazy right hand but Kerrec sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kerrec clinches. Kerrec lands with a short head shot on the inside. A right handed body shot lands from Kerrec.
Kerrec tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Kerrec taking a breather. Ruslan prevents a body shot from Kerrec.
That's one minute gone in the round. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Kerrec creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Ruslan has had enough of the clinch but Kerrec keeps him there for the moment. Our sources have told us that Kerrec has been working on his elbows in the gym. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Kerrec. Kerrec misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kerrec cracks Ruslan with a nice body shot. Kerrec tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Ruslan has had enough of the clinch but Kerrec keeps him there for the moment. Kerrec can't find room to land a body shot as Ruslan controls the action.
Kerrec tries to pull guard but Ruslan holds him up against the cage and eventually Kerrec drops back down to his feet.

Narikaev Ruslan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ruslan throws a body punch but Kerrec moves out of range. Ruslan missing with a left hand there. Kerrec was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A swing and a miss from Ruslan. Kerrec rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ruslan moves out of range and avoids them all easily. and Kerrec counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Ruslan lands with a cross. Ruslan might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ruslan misses with a two punch combination.

Kerrec swings wildly with an uppercut but Ruslan uses good head movement to avoid it. Kerrec is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Ruslan stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Kerrec is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yann Kerrec dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kerrec is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ruslan can do to turn this around? Ruslan throws a right hand that Kerrec ducks under and follows up with a left that Kerrec also avoids with ease. Kerrec was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. Kerrec moves out of range of the strikes. We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Ruslan in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. Ruslan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Kerrec sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kerrec appears to be looking for a big counter. Kerrec closes the distance and clinches. Kerrec doesn't land with the attempted body shot.

Ruslan pushing out the jab but it's not landing. An attempted straight right counter from Kerrec misses the target. Kerrec wants to clinch up but Ruslan keeps it at a distance. Ruslan takes a swing at Kerrec's ribcage but misses. Kerrec tries to clinch but Ruslan moves away and Ruslan counters with a straight right hand. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Kerrec digs a good hook to Ruslan's body.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Kerrec walks into a jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ruslan misses with a few strikes there.

A looping hook to the body misses from Ruslan. Kerrec does a little dance to reset his feet. Ruslan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Kerrec eats them both and turns towards Ruslan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Kerrec is rocked! Ruslan drops Kerrec with a naaaaasty hook - Kerrec is in real trouble here! Ruslan dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
