Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Romulo Barral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Romulo Barral! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tyson Pain! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Paul Gruel and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pain closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Barral quickly recovers to half guard. Pain thows a huge punch but Barral dodges it nicely.
Barral wants to improve his position but Pain is controlling well.
Pain is looking to advance position but Barral won't allow it. Barral moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Pain wants to control from the top but Barral keeps moving. Pain forces his way into half guard. Pain wants to pass to mount but Barral is defending the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pain throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Barral is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Pain's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Pain's back! I really don't envy Pain right now.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Barral is persistently looking for the submission but Pain is defending it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pain tries to escape but Barral has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Pain defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Barral's arms. Barral keeps control of the position as Pain tries to break free.
Pain rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Barral is looking for a kimura here.
Barral is looking for a kimura but Pain is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Barral to get the leverage. Pain gets full guard. Barral is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Pain is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Pain has escaped and now he's on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pain is pushing down on Barral's leg trying to pass to half guard. Barral is fighting to maintain full guard but Pain has managed to sneak the leg through. Barral wants to improve his position but Pain is controlling well.
Pain seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Barral does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Pain throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Pain passes the guard and advances to mount! Barral tries to reverse the position but Pain maintains control. Pain punching from mount but Barral doing a good job of avoiding damage. Barral is wriggling around trying to escape.
Pain lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Barral hang on?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barral is squirming around, avoiding Pain's attempts to control the action. Pain lands with some strikes.
Barral is rocked! Pain moves to back control. Pain is working for a rear naked choke. Barral is not defending it well and Pain has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Barral refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Barral's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
