Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wagner shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Wagner tries to stand but can't do so whilst Monster controls his leg.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Monster trying to hold on to Wagner's head to control him but Wagner postures up.
Wagner trying to control the pace.
Monster looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wagner trying to control the action but Monster is working from the bottom.

Monster tries to roll over but Wagner keeps him under control.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Wagner throws a big shot that misses.
Wagner avoids the body shot from Monster.
Wagner moves into the clinch successfully.

Monster keeps control of Wagner as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Monster gets control of Wagner's arms and successfully pulls guard. Monster will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wagner is looking to stand up but Monster won't let him.
Monster has his foot on Wagner's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Wagner works his way back into a safe position though.
Wagner wants to get up but he can't break Monster's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Monster pushes a forearm under Wagner's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Wagner is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Pale Monster!
