Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Jamison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
39 - 20 - 3, fighting out of Montreal, Richard Callaghan! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Chad Campbell and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jamison lands a right hook to the body.
Jamison throws the kick towards the body but Callaghan avoids it. Jamison lands a jab-cross combination. Jamison misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Callaghan blocks the body kick.
Jamison has closed the distance and engaged Callaghan in a clinch.
Jamison works on Callaghan's body with a couple of short punches. Callaghan makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Jamison tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Callaghan blocks a body shot from Jamison. Callaghan pushes off an throws an elbow but Jamison leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Jamison tries to pull guard but Callaghan holds him up against the cage and eventually Jamison drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Jamison. That's going to take a lot out of him. Callaghan throws a head punch that misses. A head punch blocked on the inside by Callaghan. Callaghan with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Callaghan misses with some punches.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jamison scores with a shot to the side of Callaghan's head. Callaghan tries to land a knee to the head but Jamison blocks with his arms.
Jamison throws a punch but it's blocked by Callaghan. Callaghan misses with an elbow strike.

Callaghan blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Jamison works on Callaghan's body with a couple of short punches. Jamison jumps guard.
Jamison looking for a guillotine here but Callaghan defends easily.
Jamison is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Callaghan rolls with it to try and escape but Jamison cranks on the arm and Callaghan is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
