Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Steve Rogers! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jan Strzelba! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Paulsen Ambrosius and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rogers connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Rogers scores with a sloppy right hand. Strzelba should have avoided that one. Strzelba throws a sloppy body shot
and Rogers decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Strzelba's guard. Strzelba is looking to stand up but Rogers isn't so interested in that idea. Rogers stays in close to Strzelba's body and controls the position. Strzelba wants to stand and escape but Rogers is having none of it. Rogers passes Strzelba's left leg - he's now in half guard. Rogers working over Strzelba with some ground and pound. Strzelba looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rogers lands strikes from half guard. Rogers scoring with strikes to the body and head. Nice strikes from Rogers there.
Strzelba is rocked! Rogers is controlling the pace.

That's one minute gone in the round. Still in half guard, Rogers seems content to control. Strzelba seems to have recovered his senses. Rogers stops Strzelba from getting back to his feet.
Rogers working the head and body with strikes. Rogers stalling. Rogers takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Rogers perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Rogers has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rogers winds up and cracks Strzelba with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Rogers takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Rogers slips a nice elbow through Strzelba's hands, connecting with Strzelba's forehead.
Strzelba is rocked! Strzelba pushes Rogers off looking to stand but Rogers dives back in and keeps control.
Rogers performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Rogers passes the guard and advances to mount! Rogers is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Strzelba can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Strzelba is still in real trouble! Can Rogers finish him?
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rogers controlling his opponent. Strzelba seems to have recovered his senses. Rogers tries to control but Strzelba wriggling away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rogers controlling from the full mount. Rogers lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Strzelba hang on? Rogers lands a heavy shot. That's hurt Strzelba! Rogers sees the opportunity and turns up the heat - strike after strike land to the defenseless Strzelba and the ref dives in to save him! This one is all over!
