Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Peru (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peru has chosen Wiley - ‘On A Level’ as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Peru.

Silva gets a double leg takedown into Peru's guard.
Silva keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Peru's head.
Peru wants to stand but Silva is controlling the position.

Silva is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Silva has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Silva trying to control the position from guard on top but Peru is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Silva drops back looking for a leg! Peru is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Peru manages to kick Silva off! Silva jumps back into Peru's guard.
Silva controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Peru is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Silva thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Silva stands and steps away. Peru gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Silva gets caught napping as Peru dives in and scores a takedown. Silva manages to retain guard.
Silva not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Silva tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Silva has his feet on Peru's thighs here. He's pushed Peru off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Peru screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
