Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sam Slapper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brain Buro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buro has chosen Brian Boro`s March as his entrance music. Brain Buro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Slapper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brain Buro!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Reed Andrews and David Schapiro.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buro scores with a punch to the head.
Slapper's jab looks to have found its range, popping Buro under the eye.
Buro scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Slapper throws a right hand that misses
and Buro cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Buro gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Slapper throws out a loose jab but Buro uses good head movement to avoid it.
Slapper tries to move into range but Buro moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
The fighters circling - Slapper throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Buro lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slapper steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Buro.
Buro swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Buro connects with the punch.


Slapper is rocked!
Buro gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Slapper.
Oh Slapper is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Buro bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
A countering left hand to the body from Buro misses.
Buro ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Slapper seems to have got his legs back now.
Buro missing with a left hand there. Slapper was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Buro loads up on a big right hand but Slapper slips the punch.
Buro lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Slapper circles away quickly and effectively.
Buro throws a lazy right hand but Slapper sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Slapper throws a hook but Buro avoids it easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Buro lands a nice shot to the body.

Slapper moves into range and clinches up with Buro.
Buro has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Buro blocks a punch to the side of the head.
We've been informed that Buro has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Buro tries to circle away but Slapper has him pinned against the cage.
Buro wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Slapper lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Slapper tries to land knees in the clinch but Buro avoids the damage to the body.

Slapper can't find room to land a body shot as Buro controls the action.
Buro is trying to force a seperation but Slapper has the dominant position.
Buro is trying to push Slapper away but Slapper has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Slapper has a couple of punches blocked by Buro.
Buro has had enough of the clinch but Slapper keeps him there for the moment.
Buro has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Buro has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Buro breaks from the clinch.
Buro paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Buro getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Buro drops his hands momentarily and Slapper takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Slapper tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Buro connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Buro cracks Slapper with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Buro has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Slapper to stand back up!
Buro throws an overhand right that drops Slapper like a sack of potatoes! Buro dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Brain Buro!
Brain Buro really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that AnonymouS logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
