Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Wakoko Wakeke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cai Proctor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Wakoko Wakeke! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cai Proctor! The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Josh West and Micheangelo Fripello.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Proctor stuffs the takedown. Proctor tries to close the distance and clinch but Wakeke swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Wakeke appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Wakeke keeps the fight on the outside. Wakeke takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Wakeke shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Proctor sprawls well. Proctor wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wakeke gets slowly back to his feet. Proctor forces Wakeke back against the cage and clinches. Proctor lands a left hand that snaps the head of Wakeke backwards. Wakeke tries for a takedown but Proctor manages to get underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wakoko Wakeke. That's going to take a lot out of him. Proctor lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. A short right from Proctor. Wakeke changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Proctor fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Wakeke fails with the takedown. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Wakeke changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Proctor tries to avoid it but Wakeke manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Proctor to the ground. Proctor escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Wakeke shoots in for a double leg but Proctor sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Proctor swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Wakeke. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Proctor instigates a clinch. Proctor lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Wakeke backwards. Proctor content to slow the pace in the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. A nice right hand lands inside from Proctor.
Wakeke is rocked! A nice right hand lands inside from Proctor. Oh Wakeke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! I was talking to Wakeke's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Wakeke is breathing heavily. Proctor lands a big right hand that drops Wakeke! The killer instinct kicks in and Proctor finishes his opponent with a series of strikes from mount. A dominating finish by Proctor!
