Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Ledfoot! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlos Solrac! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Solrac changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Ledfoot looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Ledfoot struggling a bit here. Solrac looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Solrac advances nicely into full mount. A nice elbow there by Solrac.
It looks like Joe Ledfoot has been cut. Ledfoot can't escape the position.
Ledfoot is working hard here to advance position. Solrac is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ledfoot has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Joe Ledfoot's cut is getting worse. This has been an exciting period of action! Solrac wants to control but Ledfoot has made it back to half guard. Nice work. Solrac is looking to take a break and control but Ledfoot is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Solrac is looking for a kimura but Ledfoot is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Solrac to get the leverage. Solrac looks gassed! Ledfoot trying to control here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ledfoot is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Solrac moves into full mount! Ledfoot won't be happy about that! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Ledfoot can't escape the position.
Solrac wants to finish this one by submission but Ledfoot is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Solrac. Ledfoot tries to get back to half guard but can't. Solrac goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Ledfoot turns into him and now he's in Solrac's guard.
Ledfoot postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Solrac is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Ledfoot, into his guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Solrac slips nicely into half guard. Ledfoot looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Solrac tries to pass to full mount but Ledfoot defends it. Solrac throwing shots but Ledfoot is blocking nicely. Ledfoot trying to control here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Solrac trying to mount his opponent but Ledfoot defends it. Solrac passes to side control. Ledfoot is trying to work for a sweep but Solrac has mounted him! Solrac avoids the attempt from Ledfoot to control. Ledfoot is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Solrac is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Solrac looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Ledfoot regains half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Solrac dominated that round. The cut man is working on Joe Ledfoot's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ledfoot tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Solrac swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ledfoot misses with a takedown and Solrac counters with a three punch combo that has Ledfoot backing up. Ledfoot nods at Solrac to acknowledge the strikes. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ledfoot blocks a leg kick. Solrac has taken the fight to the clinch.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Solrac has Ledfoot pushed against the cage. Solrac prevents Ledfoot from breaking the clinch. Solrac is stalling here.
Solrac keeps control of Ledfoot as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Solrac lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Ledfoot slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Ledfoot has his foot on Solrac's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Solrac works his way back into a safe position though.

Ledfoot is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Solrac pulls his head out easily. Solrac drops an elbow to the side of Ledfoot's head. Solrac wants to pass to mount but Ledfoot is defending the position. Ledfoot looking for submissions off his back. Ledfoot tries to roll over but Solrac keeps him under control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Solrac postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Ledfoot to stand up. Ledfoot shoots and misses and Solrac counters with a straight right hand. Solrac swinging wilding here.

A close second round but Carlos Solrac will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Joe Ledfoot's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Ledfoot closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Solrac is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Ledfoot looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Solrac tries to get back to half guard but can't. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Solrac is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Ledfoot postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Solrac regains half guard. Solrac gets back to full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Solrac throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Ledfoot escapes and throws Solrac's legs to the side, diving into side control! Solrac is looking for a sweep. Ledfoot has hold of Solrac's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Solrac tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Ledfoot cranks the arm and Solrac screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Solrac, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
