Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zoey Malone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Malone has chosen Boy Named Sue - Johnny Cash as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
19 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Zoey Malone! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Malone misses. Malone tries to land a leg kick but Harris saw it coming and moves away.
Harris changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Malone throws a body punch but Harris moves out of range. Harris avoids the head kick by Malone.
Harris definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Malone fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Harris manages to avoid it. Harris misses with a looping right. Malone throws out a leg kick but Harris moves out of range and Malone only half commits. Malone throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Malone keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Harris. It seemed like Malone was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Malone throws a push kick but Harris slaps the foot to one side. Nice uppercut there from Harris. Harris shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Malone but Malone pushes him off and we're back to square one. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Harris swings for the body but Malone moves out of range.

That's one minute gone in the round. Harris shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Harris with a lazy takedown attempt and Malone makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Malone has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Malone pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A looping hook to the body misses from Malone. Harris does a little dance to reset his feet. Harris changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Harris misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Malone.
Harris takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Malone ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Harris moves away. That kick from Harris tenderised Malone's leg. Malone is trying to keep his angry face on. Malone just misses with a punch to the body.
Malone stuns Harris with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Harris's corner calls for a 1-2. Harris obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Harris throws a leg kick that is checked and Malone counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Harris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Harris changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Malone tries to avoid it but Harris manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Malone to the ground. Malone escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him. Malone lands a high kick!

Harris takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Harris feints and as Malone raises his hands in defense, Harris changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Malone wants to sweep here but Harris controlling him for the moment. Harris got a little sloppy there for a moment and Malone has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Harris has managed to get both his arms back between Malone's legs - danger averted. Malone bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Harris's guard. Malone wants to control from the top but Harris keeps moving. Harris preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Harris's guard. Malone is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Harris doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Malone. Harris is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Malone is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Malone seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Harris does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Harris tries to get to full guard but Malone has control of the leg. Malone wants to stand up but Harris manages to regain full guard. Malone is pushing down on Harris's leg trying to pass to half guard. Harris is fighting to maintain full guard but Malone has managed to sneak the leg through. Malone is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Zoey Malone dominated that round. The cut man is working on Paul Harris's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Malone throws a hook to the side of Harris's head but Harris sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Malone throws a sloppy head kick and Harris moves out of range easily. Harris throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Malone counters with a solid body kick. Malone shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Malone throws a sloppy head kick and Harris moves out of range easily. Malone misses with a wild body shot. Harris throws a low kick but it's checked well by Malone. Harris avoids the head kick by Malone.

Harris shoots in and bounces Malone off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Malone looking for a guillotine here but Harris defends easily.

You can't force these things though and Harris defends well. Malone manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Harris manages to get himself to full guard.
Malone is pushing down on Harris's leg trying to pass to half guard. Harris is fighting to maintain full guard but Malone has managed to sneak the leg through. Harris looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Malone looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Malone appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Harris misses with a body kick. Harris is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Malone scores with a shot to the body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris getting the better of the striking in that exchange. A big right from Malone misses. Malone jabs Harris to the body, keeping him at a distance. Malone takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Malone is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Harris. Harris appears to be looking for a counter takedown. Malone has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Malone lands a front kick. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Malone throws a shot to the body.

Nice work. Sloppy strikes from Malone. Those never looked like landing. Harris ducks right into an uppercut from Malone. Harris dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Malone. That did some damage! Harris tries to land a front kick but Malone steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Malone slips under a jab. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Malone feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Harriss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Harris shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Harris takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Harris takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Paul Harris has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Harris tries to advance to mount but can't. Malone sneaks back into half guard. Malone looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Malone wants to get back to full guard. Harris uses his free foot to push down on Malone's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Malone. Harris cracks Malone with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A nice elbow there by Harris. Harris lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Malone keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Harris controlling from the full mount. Harris looking to finish Malone with some ground and pound. This is bad for Malone! Malone tries to hold on but Harris pushes him away. Malone is trying desperately to improve position. Harris moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Malone has worked his arm free - good work by Malone!
Paul Harris overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Malone is not content to let Harris control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Malone is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Malone is looking to reverse the position. Harris swings around for an armbar but Malone sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Harris's guard. Malone controlling from the top position. Malone pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Harris is keeping the position for now. Harris is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Paul Harris. I think Malone has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
